If the ball was sitting still as in golf, I agree that the perfect position is the still shot we see in the newspaper all the time. What do the hands do right after contact? I know Jack says do not push throw cause the ball is gone only on the bat for milliseconds. But what if the batter gets to the "CONTACT" position with the hands/elbows/shoulders and he is early, the ball is still out there. What do you do? The bat head is decelerating, do we have any shoulder rotation left, or do we throw our hands or "push" through to get the bathead there?
