I would love to hear commentary from the "rotational mechanics" experts here and disect Ted Williams' swing. I've read "The Science of Hitting" a dozen times and am a strong believer in the "hips lead the hands" mantra that Ted revealed. This is what I teach a lot of the youth that I coach.

I disagree that low hands are a must for rotational hitting. Many rotational hitters have high hands. I don't think there is much of a correlation.

Williams was right, hips lead. His book was ok, but he did a poor job of giving detailed descriptions on HOW to accomplish this. It's not as simple as just saying "do it". There is a simple way of just doing it, as described in some of my posts over the past two or three months.
