after being a avid reader of this web site for the past 3 years and buying 2 of jack mankins instructional videos. I tended to disregard with all of charlie lau teaching.But one of his teaching was for the batter to finish high in the follow thru.I think this was charlie lau atempt to have the batter rotate his front shoulder back towards the catcher at contact.esp on the middle and inside pitches.I do realize now, that after the ball is gone off the bat the follow thru doesnt matter . I now tend to believe he wanted the shoulders to keep rotating into contact by teaching a high follow thru.
