Hi my son is having trouble in utilizing his swing from heavy bag to
live hitting. His swing on heavy bag is fine , he gets 55-60% angle at
bat lag but in live pitching he reverts to his old form using up his
rotation and hitting with arm. He is 14 and tells me in live batting he
doesn't think just swings. Tips on transition would help. He has done
tee work, and my pitching machine at low speed to enable him to think it
through. In the beginning of the season his batting was poor as he said
he wasn't used to the swing, I expect that to be normal with anything
new.
