Dave. See George Brett, or simply step slightly at an angle toward the plate. The load should take care of itself. Or go to rarefilms.com and get the Ted Williams videos. Ted explains how to wait and keep from pulling the ball foul. Basically you move the back foot away from the plate and move the front foot toward the plate. This allows you to hit at right angles and maximize plate coverage.
