You may be right, but I have a hard time seeing the difference between the hips “spinning” or “rotating” around a stationary axis. One might say that the term “spinning” indicates a disconnection, or free-wheeling. But isn’t that what some coaches advocate – maximum separation before the shoulders rotate?
