Well put about the greats with their bck elbow up. However, I would like you to watch where it is when the ball is have way to the plate. The names you mentioned are freaks... all I'm sure this site is doing is try to get players in the most sucessful Starting position as possible. Back elbow up or down, where are all good hitter at when the BALL is half way to the plate. That is the question. I promise it ain't back elbow up. However, if you can get your back elbow up and still keep from premature extention than more power to you! 99.9% of hitters can't!
