I have studied Charlie Lau's linear hitting and Mike Epstein's rotational hitting equally. The facts are that both styles are proven successful. The difference is whether or not the coach is smart enough to teach the hitter to use the style that he is best suited for that individual.

How do you decide which style is best suited for teaching?
