Who is Dave Hudgens? and are his tapes any good? What method of hitting does he teach? They seem a bit expensive.

I bought his book several years ago. He teaches short swing, knob to the ball(linear). I taught his technique to my 10 yr old and his hitting suffered. There was no power, no bat speed. I was really confused at that point. I discovered this site bought the tape and eavy bag and within a week my son's were ripping the ball. My son at 10 yrs old 50 lbs could hit it over a 200ft LL fence. Batspeed is the key. Higher batspeed allows you not only to hit it further but to wait longer on the pitch.
