What are the techniques used to change the swing plane for the height of the pitch?

What are the proper techniques or cues to change the swing plane for a low pitch? I have my thoughts but would like some clarification. Ive tried searching previous threads w/ no luck but if someone can provide a link to prior threads that would be great. Thanks in advance and love the site.
