Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Instructor needed
I'm in the Portland area.I need some help.I heard Charley Lau Jr taught Alex Rodriguez and obviously Arod got his money's worth. But thats my problem I can't afford $500 an hour or whatever he charges and besides that I dont think he is anywhere close to Portland.Does someone know of a hitting instructor within a 300 mile radius of Portland and who follows Lau's principals? Thank you I looke forward to your help.

His experience and reputation is well documented. How many books have YOU written? How many videos have YOU produced? How many major leaguers have YOU taught? The only thing I have heard about Dilbert is that he sits in a cubicle all day long. And your ignorant comment "Charles probably doesn't even know how to teach top hand torque correctly". Well I have news for you, from what I have seen of this site lately, none of you seem to even have the ability to explain what the heck that term means. How could you expect someone to teach something that you yourself cant even explain what it means?

If it's Oregon I know of a good instructor in Eugene. He doesn't get into a lot of science stuff, just teaches how to crush the ball.I do agree that putting down Lau is retarded.I get my info from all kinds of sources, Lau, Baker, Garvey, Ellis, Feroli, Williams, you name it I have it.I dont know what organization Jack Mankin is affiliated with but here & there there's some interesting point made at this site.

I guess that means Jack has no credibility then.
