>>> You might say a four year old is too young. I dont think so if you laugh, play and have fun. Some of you may have had some bad childhood experiences, and I'm sorry for it. But some of the biggest highlights I had growing up were catching passes and hitting balls. If I can encourage my son to play outside, to throw and kick a ball rather than always watching cartoons or playing video games, I guess I'm a sick man. Tetherbaseball, I call it a training aid my son I'm sure would call it a toy. Now if my son doesnt care for one of my passions then we can always go out and fly a kite or chase leaves. <<<

Hi

Well stated Chris. My most cherished memories were from the times I spent with my Dad. From playing catch to fishing or working on a project – it was not the activity that mattered – it was just doing something with Dad that mainly sticks in my memories. --- Dad coached me, I coached my sons and we all still love baseball.

Not positive, but I believe the training aid you are referring to is the “Swing-a-Way.” Good luck to you and your son!
