Nick,

A golf swing is fairly standard due to the fixed speed and position of the golf ball at contact.

Angles may appear more pronounced since the golf club is longer and thinner than a bat, and the ball is always contacted off the extreme end of the club. Basic principles of force application, however, should be similar to baseball.
