I would like to comment on this post about "bang for your Buck" by Mr. Procito. Something you must realize about any facet of the game, there are several techniques or schools of thought that a variety of coaches use throughout the world. What I have come to realize you use what works to make your athlete successful....by this I mean if you can teach an athlete to hit with and be sussessful, then why change. Sure there are some techniques proven more successful than others, but if they work...use them. You should not knock anyone elses philosophies unless you are willing to show someone a better or different way....Which by the way.......What is your philosophy on hitting Mr. Procito?

Chuck,

Your thinkging (what ever works) is what the guys who are making a buck on "hitting methods" rely on. Thats how they can keep coming up with new ideas and no matter how silly or useless dosen't matter.

Your idea about one arm and one leg is a great example. Why not try to sell it. Some sucker who thinks that any idea is a good idea will buy it.

But, even if eventually you know the idea isn't any good, you have to by it and use it to find that out. What do you don't get is that when an idea dosen't work, it's never the idea thats at fault. It's the batter.

The point is, it's a selling scam. And you are perfect for it.

By the way, you wouldn't understand my philosophy. It's way to simple and it works.

S. Procito.
