I was wonder what yourthoughts were on the agrument that a softball swing and baseball swing are different. I have heard many differetn approached to this and would like to hear your opinion!

> Frank is absolutely right, the best softball hitters have swings like the best hitters in baseball (exculding slappers which is a whole differt thing). Let's just say a great swing is just that no matter which sport you play. As you mentioned above, stop the hands, whip the bat, and smack the bat on your back (you can only do this if you limit your upper body rotation) is the one that bothers me the most. All this can do is reduce the amount of power in a batters swing.

Oh here is another one, hit the top half of the ball to get ground balls throught the infield. Wouldn't a line drive get through a lot quicker?
