Re: Maple Wood Bats`

I don't know which of those is better, but I can tell you what NOT to buy. I ordered two Mash maple bats online (@$59.95 apiece). They finally arrived almost a month later, and were nowhere near specs (at least as I'd requested them). When I called the number in Canada, the customer-service rep's attitude was, basically, "tough." One bat broke the very first day of BP, and when we examined the wood inside, it almost appeared "termite-eaten": There were small hollow pockets that ran along some of the grain. The other one broke three games later, on a pitch I hit just a fraction south of the sweet spot.

I've used Mash bats with good success. Never broken one, and gotten nice distance. Good luck.
