Video Comparison of Men and Women from CWS I intended to start off August with this comparison video of very good men and women hitters from the college world series (and will repost in August), but since Shawn requested it today I thought we'd put the video up (since we've kept everyone waiting for a while).
CWS Comparison Video These top notch hitters (who are not large women) drive the ball. In my opinion, they have comparible mechanics to pros hitting 30-40+ homeruns per year. The bat dives after contact, but that's due to the weight of the ball. Any thoughts? Does anybody still think that the best female hitters swing much differently? Followups:
