hand movement from

A couple questions here...mostly just want some different feedback/thoughts.

First, assuming some type of no stride or land on toe stride... should the movement of heel up to heel down start the swing and start the hands moving forward, or, is this movement separate and should it be completed before the hands and upper body move forward thereby increasing separation between the lower and upper half.

I'm not suggesting one of these is right or wrong...but i recently heard a debate on these issues and whether the increased separation suggested by the first was necessary.

Second, any thoughts on height/stance/leverage? I know thats a general question -- but obviously a bigger hitter will have an easier time generating leverage to drive the ball. For a smaller hitter who might have trouble staying balanced -- is a wide stance or wide no-stride approach a questionable idea because of lost leverage?

Any thoughts or arguments for or against either question would be appreciated...Thanks!
