Hand position at contact

Posted by: Tlong (Grad76@aol.com) on Tue Mar 14 19:11:58 2000

Most instructors teach palm up/palm down at contact. Some say the knob takes you to the ball(front arm) and the top hand completes the job. Others preach lead arm extension. Is a knob lead necessarily bad and if so, Why? Do you agree with Lau (lead arm extension) or Schmidt Top hand / rotation theory?
