How many Joe A's are there ? Just when I think Joe A is a nut case with no understanding of coaching or playing from prior posts and only dead weight wanting some confrontation on a very good discussion board he comes up with some very interesting coaching ideas. Joe A may actually be a very good "younger youth" coach at the rec. level. That was a good post and enjoyed reading it.

There are two Joe As. The one who put up the post you are talking about and the one who posted on "Jack, forget about it" above. Since there is no way of telling the difference, other then the quality of the posts, you will have to figure out the difference.

In any event, I assure you, I am a very good coach at every level because I understand that coaching is more then knowing "how to." Coaching is being able to present information in a way that others can understand, accept and perform. This is a skill in itself and worthy of as much discussion and study as the "how tos" everyone seems to focus on in these sites.

Unfortunatley, not many "coaches" even care about this part of teaching. The "hat-on-a-string," for example, demonstrates how I apply the skill of teaching with knowledge of "how to." Very few understand how the two go together and of those who do, fewer can combine them into practical application.

Joe A.
