Re: Re: DOES This hitting technique really work?

im thinking about buying a video and learning this swing. I need to know if i would see definite results if i worked at this. Im basically a line drive hitter and hit for average.I want to learn how to hit the long ball.

> yes it works I have been coaching baseball and softball for close to 20 years and the more I digest the swing mechanics of the rotational swing and really study major leaguers and the way they swing, it is pretty eye opening to see this is exactly the way a very, very high percentage of them swing.
> I have been teaching rotational mechanics for a few months to our girls fastpitch team and no joke I had one girl hit a homerun and a long foulball home run and another girl hit two homeruns. the next tourney one of the same girls hit another long homer.this did not happen until i started studying and applying the mechanics of the rotational swing. money well spent my friend

Ditto. Both my daughters hit the ball farther than anyone else on their team. My 15 year old has hit 2 shots recently that were unbelievable. I overheard the coach of the opposing team joke to his players about the hitters being on steroids (sorry it is just good mechanics). My daughter's coach who had seen many games at this field said he had never seen a ball hit so hard here. And the next week she hit one even farther. My 14 year old was recently getting lip service from her coach to change her mechanics. At her last practice she hit a ball about 50 feet farther than anyone else on her team. I don't think he will bother her anymore.
