> I must admit though not w/ his choice of words that Paul makes a few points to be addressed. His question Why? deserves an answer.Especially for kids in little league. I read a post that said that each style rota/ linear had its merits. It's possible that depending on the situation they both have pros and cons? I personally believe if you can effectively teach rotational its the way to go. My boy is 12 and Im stressing Rotational. OBTW would Cobb have been considered linear or rotational? ,hands apart, dead ball er

a,he had an awesome bat and awesome running speed, baaad attitude.
Ty cobb was a warrior in professional sports and he used his intimidation tactics to boost his adrenalin and positive attitude toward his ability, you gotta believe you can.Without his attitude he would not have been near as good a ball player as he was.Take piazza for example ,great power hitter but what a uppity do gooder all for image, when clemens in the world series sawed his bat off and then took the barrel and threw it at him as he ran to 1st and everyone was appalled,it was the perfect time for him to have charged clemens then and stuck that sawed off piece of bat in his right shoulder and it could have been looked at by many as finishing a fight that someone else started, but the candyass did nothing and clemens the most dominating player on the field during the series dominated the mets 2 games, and piazza did little to help, had he traded himself for clemens his team had a much better chance of winning, just my pshchotic humble opinion about guys like cobb and rose, they both molded desire and attitude in many ml players after them.
