I am kind of caught in a quandry. I need some advice on what bat weight & length I should use. I play slow pitch softball where the leagues places no stipulation on bat particulars. I am 34 years old weigh 157lbs & am 5'8". I am contemplating a 26oz 34" or 24oz 32". Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Scientific studies of baseball swings indicate that bat swing speed has a much greater effect on ball exit speed than bat weight (within limitations). Wood baseball bats work best between 30-35 oz. Of the two bats mentioned, I would suggest you choose the bat that you can swing the fastest.
