I am not a baseball player but my son really digs the sport and I enjoy watching the games(As leangthy as they are...walk,walk,walk, etc.) As of now he has not made contact with the ball. He is swinging way late and I am looking for a way to help him since the coaches are more worried about the guys that can hit. Is there an exercise that I could work with him to become not a slugger, but just to make contact. Any help would be great!!

Also of course there is also the fear factor which is quite evident in kids at such young ages, ecspecially in their first years of fast pitch. I would just have your son hit off a pitching machine until his hands blister so that he can build confidence up that he can hit a baseball
