Mac and ARod- Bad Students?

Posted by: chip () on Sat Jun 1 12:37:52 2002

Last month in one of his posts "Mr. Lau" suggested that two of his students are/were the above mentioned stars. In the post he talked about one of the "essentials", striding with the front foot as closed as possible. I may not have seen representative clips of these guys, but it sure seems as if their front feet land at the 45 degree angle, like all the other rotational greats. Looks like they need/needed more work with their "teacher" in order to correct this mistake. Or is he just talking about having the foot closed while in the air for some and THEN landing at 45? (But what sense does that make?)
As an aside, how old is "Mr. Lau"? From his posts I'm guessing 15 or 16.
