Torque at the wrists

Posted by: Dennis W. () on Fri Jun 8 00:14:16 2007

Elite,

How does a batter negotiate an inside pitch (high, mid, low) still mainataining CHP, but not expending early torque at the wrists.
IMO early torque expenditure is a loss of power.
On video my hands are where they should be at these pitch locations, however at the cost of BHT application (which getting jammed sometimes occurs).
For those of you practicing the Rotational Swing, please offer a friendly word of advise.
Please do not come up with a Linear stand-point comment. After countless MLB swing comparisons, and video tape of my own players before and after, I agree with Jack, Mike Epstein, TED WILLIAMS...etc that this Linear approach, though applicable at one time, is an out dated, sub level approach to the swing.
