I pop the ball up to shortstop all the time. What is wrong with my swing?

i always pop the ball up to shortstop or third base. when i dont pop it up, i hit the ball hard. i cant find out what is wrong with my swing, but i pop it up more than i hit it hard. can somebody please tell me what is wrong with my swing? Thanks.
