barry bonds is said to have the quickest hands in the game.. what does this mean and how do i get quick hands.

I would bet both of these movements can be accomplised in approximatly the same amount of time (Jack may have charted this in his research). Obvoiusly the body rotating more in the same time the distance the bat comes around with the body is greater and would have to come around faster. But your probably asking what about my hands I was asking about speeding them up.

If you ever watched a track meet they sometimes use a staggered start around a corner. The path around the inside of the track is shorter and a runner with identical speed will get around the inside much faster than on the outside. This is also the case with your hands rotating around your body, they get around much faster because they are taking a shorter path around. Therefore put the additional body rotation together with the tight hand arc and you get more batspeed. Hope you concur Jack?
