Belly button at pitcher

Do you think that to hit a ball to right the belly button should be pointed at the second baseman, to center at the pitcher and to left at the shortstop? Just a thought it seemed to help my kids understand how to better hit in different directions, and of course this is only at the point of contact on the follow through they continue the rotation.
