For your first question: I used to hit to right field all the time. I had enough power to knock the ball over the right fielder's head but once I learned better mechanics, I couldn't hit right anymore. What I found out I was doing was dropping the bat too much and chopping the ball on the bottom/inside part of the ball sending it to right field with wicked spin. Leveling out the swing made me hit to center consistently. I don't know if this is what this boy is doing but it's worth watching for.
