Re: popping up

Last year in my freshman year in highschool i hit nearly .500 but this year i have a problem with popping up or not being able to hit the ball and my coaches keep telling me "do this" "Stand like this" and i feel they changed my way of batting. What drills can i do to stop popping up?
Hey
The One thing that sucks about hitting a baseball is that a few centimeters up and its a homerun, a few centimeters down and its a pop fly. A few milliseconds early and you roll over, a few milliseconds late and you pop out. What I am trying to say is that it could be your timing as well as your mechanics. But I do have some advice that might be of use. You can raise your hands, maybe just a little could make a difference. And seconds you can try to land with more bend in your front leg when you stride.
