Re: Speed of hip rotation

> I am a player who is reconized for hitting homeruns. Every coach told me I hit really well: my mechanics are great, I have a big powerful swing. There was only one coach that told me I don't rotate my hips. Well, I took that into consideration and worked on it all winter in my basement. But I still am not satisfied with my hip rotation. I know teenagers my age don't worry about that, but I do. So my question is, now that I get real breaking balls and 70 mph fastballs is a slow hip rotation going to effect my quickness on a inside pitch or a curve outside?
