If you are having trouble with offspeed and breaking pitches, you need to work on being patient and waiting on the ball. Do not change your swing, just when you begin your swing. If you are having trouble with fast balls, you need to work on picking up the ball "ALL" the way to the bat... Like the old saying goes, "You cannot hit, what you cannot see..." Very much true... You have to "See" the ball to hit it on a consistent basis. Try working on keeping your nose on the ball and following it all the way in with both eyes and not out of the corner of you eye... Adjust your timing accordingly to the speed of the pitch. Slow timing for slower pitchers and quicker timing for faster pitchers...
