Bat Speed Posted by: Rick (fredneck@yahoo.com) on Sun May 6 09:05:08 2007 Is it possible for a kid to have to quick of a bat? I coach a 12 year old who swings a 17oz bat but I think his hands are too quick and it's like swinging a tooth pick for him. I want to bump him up to a 19 oz and slow him down some. Does this make sence?
