Re: Hitting the high pitch

It looks as though he has too much of an upswing. Without seeing his swing, is there anything I can do to help him with the high pitch and the outside pitch.

first of all he shouldnt be swinging at high pitches because those are balls. 2nd to hit the out side pitch you have to have good plate coverage,so dont stand to far away from the plate because i know at 9 years old kids are afraid of getting hit by the pitch. Also set up a tee on the outside of the plate and work it that way.
