Power outage and tucked elbow

Posted by: Kevin (caloebs@surewest.net) on Tue Apr 24 15:40:40 2007

My boy was hitting line drives, live pitching, soft toss etc... just a 2 weeks ago. Since, he's been hitting weak fly balls to opposite field or rolling over top of ball for weak grounders if he pulls them. I keep thinking he's flying open, but don't see it. I took some side pictures and his rear elbow is in front of the bat. It like it is in 'the slot', but the hands are behind the elbow. Arm looks barred as well. Not sure which is biggest problem. Anyone know what causes weak balls to opposite field other than flying open? I'll try to post pics later.

Thanks,
Kevin
