Tilt (swing/ball plane)

When during the stride or the swing should the rearward tilt occur?
When I review video of at bats (cage) I found that during my stride I am starting the tilt rearward where it allows me to be more in the ball's glidescope, also allowing me a better torque and extension execution. Is this tilt during the stride the intension, or should the tilt begin at the lag position.
