Keeping Focus as Instructors

Posted by: Troy () on Mon Feb 11 15:49:16 2002

I think it is great to live in a country that allows so many different people and ideas to come together. As instructors our quest for the holy grail of hitting often puts blinders on our eyes and makes us look at everything right or wrong. As long as I have been a professional player and instructor I have seen many things that defy logic. I think as instructors, no matter if we teach pony league or major league hitters, we must strive to stay up to date with the art of hitting. We must become a student of the game and learn from as many people professional people we can. I think the second that we think we know all is the point that it is time to try a different profession. It is our obligation as professional to our students that we can make them to be the best that they can be.
