>>> DEFINATELY STAYAWAY FROM SWINGING TOO HEAVY OF A BAT UNLESS YOU CAN DO SO WITH PERFECT MECHANICS.....WHAT MOST KIDS WILL DO IT STARTTO SWING WITH THEIR SHOULDERS INSTEAD OF THEIR HANDS...WHICH WE ALL KNOW, CAUSES THEM TO PULL OFF OF EVERYTHING! THEY DO THIS BECAUSE THEY TRY TO GENERATE ENOUGH STRENGTH TO SWING IT, SO THEY NATURALLY USE MORE MUSCLESIN THEIR BODY WHICH IS NOT A GOOD THING! HANDS HANDS HANDS!!!! <<<

Hi Sean

In an earlier post you stated:

“I don't know if its true with my swing, but someone told me the other day when they watch me hit that my hands are real fast through the zone but my bat is slow through the zone. I guess I kind of understand...but how do I fix this and what could be causing my bat to be slow through the zone.”

What is causing your bat to be slow through the zone is because you are thinking “HANDS, HANDS, HANDS!!!. If you want to generate a quick bat through the zone, keep your hands back and allow the rotation of your shoulders to swing your hands and bat through the zone. – Maybe swinging a heavier bat would help solve your problem.
