Matt, based on scientific principles rotaional mechanics is the only way to strike a baseball with force. So your comment should is stupid. These guys who hit don´t hit because they are superman or because they are manny ramirez, or barry bonds. It´s because the generate alot of batspeed and our on time most of the time with the ball. That is why they hit so well. So you can keep teaching straight line non sense and ruin kids. These latin guys who rake model guys like vlad, and tejada who are all twisted up like a coil when they swing. Not juan pierre luis castillo who hit in a staright line because they are paid to put the ball on the ground and run. I´m talking about hitting the ball with autority not just making contact. I´ll take a guy who makes good contact and strikes out than a guy who puts the ball in play all the time.
