Torque Tension

Posted by: Don Ramsay (DJMRAMS@Juno.com) on Tue Jan 22 09:46:19 2002

As a former ball player and a non power hitter,
rotational mechanics intriquing. Is there concern
that top/bottom hand torque promotes tension and
restricts fluidity in swimg...does a hitter
squeeze the "sawdust" out of the bat? Also you mentions Adair's comments re: "timing" as being
work reading. I wonder if you would elaborate ?
Timing is so important in hitting and rarely discussed.
Any comments.
