approach

Anyone think it is a good approach to go up to the plate EVERY time trying to hit the ball to the opposite field? Unless you are ahead in the count, then you should look for a pitch that you can really kill, right? But for a normal approach, should it be to go to the opposite field? Thanks!

And one more thing, how important is it to lead with the bottom hand? Why/why not? And are there any good drills for this? Thanks!
