> I play college baseball and am taught by probably one of the only instructors in america who actually knows how to teach the swing correctly...your swing mechanics are way off....I knew about 99% of coaches did not have a clue what they were talking about; but for you to post this as the most comprehensive swing analysis on the web is just terrible....rotation is probably the worst thing that can be in a swing a it forces a hitter "off line" ....i think i am going to write a book on hitting so no more nonsense can be sold to people....email me if you are interested once this happens....if it does....but trust me, reading this sort of stuff really makes me want to write one....

OK. If rotation is soooo bad, what does your coach tell you to create bat speed? Your body has to "TURN" to get into the right hitting position or do you swing with just your arms? Do you start with the bat in the catchers face and sweep it through the zone praying to make contact and get more than a bunt out of it? Just what is your technique and what is it called? Who is this genious of a coach? Have you ever read what Ted Williams had to say about hitting? The internet is just an information pool. Don't downplay the tool. If your coach is so good how did you end up on a site that teaches about hitting? Just a few questions. Please respond. I have been playing/coaching for the past 35 years. I have been to a large number of clinics and seminars by some very famous hitters. Tony Gwynn ring a bell? How about Tommy Lasorda? Chris Chambliss? Pete Rose? How does your coach's resume stack up to any of these?

I await your response but I will not hold my breath.
