Haven't posted for quite some time, but still visit here quite regularly. Even though I don't think I truly understand everything that's discussed here, I think I have a "basic" understanding.

Dear J,

Do not worry if usage of this sight increases strike outs. Perhaps you are correct, but increased bat speed will also allow for your pupils to wait longer, hit the ball harder, and, consequently, will lead to higher batting averages. Higher batting averages mean more individuals occupy bases, and, as a result, will turn fly outs into runs batted in. As the batter grows in skill, he or she will develop power. The result is the only system (rotational) "which allows for triple crown numbers," a claim which Jack made in one of his earlier posts. I find his claims tenable.

As a result, any linear movement will be an impediment to circular hand path, and bottom hand torque. When you post the front hip, as Jack once told me, you restrict the movement of the corresponding shoulder. Besides, you decrease the circular hand path by half. Read and reread the site (I did) for an extensive knowledge of the swing. I'm sure Jack can be of great assistance.

Sincerely,
BHL
