Tony,
Think of who plays most fastptich softball and then think about which areas of the body are most girls strength deficient. Then read the stuff about rotational hitting and decide which you think might be most effective for most girls. As Jack has mentioned, the abiltiy to coach the rotational approach is what might limit most of us 'coaches' as we were probably taught to hit by coaches who only knew the linear approach.
I have been teaching the rotational approach to girls for many years and have had excellent results. I wish that someone had taught me this approach when I was a young player-I certainly would have been a much better hitter.

jack new to the site my daughter is taught elbows down why this works for contact has no power.my question is yoyr method at a shorter pitching distance less time to see the ball can she get her hands through the zone fast of enough your style. any fastpitch players using your style that can give some feed back. were willing to try if it works
