Nice clip.

Here's what I see...

1. A pretty standard Bonds swing.

2. A ball that's belt high and just on the outside half of the plate.

3. The pitch looks like it was hung, based on what the catcher's glove does (how it jumps up into the frame). Might have been a hung curveball or slider. Bonds' weight is relatively forward, which makes me think it was an off-speed pitch.

4. His shoulders tilt and his back elbow moves away from his body slightly to adjust for the outside location of the pitch.

5. Bonds' hip rotation is different that others', due in part to his "augmented" body.

6. A relatively circular hand path. His hands move toward 1B (not toward the pitcher) as his shoulders turn.

7. He lets go of the bat with his back hand ala Pujols.

What was I supposed to see?
