Here it is BINGO! "The number of times big leaguers launch good swings indicates that they make the pitcher throw to their zone before they launch. If they were trying to adjust to both speed and location on every pitch they could not complete as many good swings." Bingo! Finally, the swing plane of MLB hitters is not mostly horizontal as demonstrated here. It is diagonal. The diagonal plane allows high adjustability for both in/out adjustment and up/down adjustments. Which is it. I am confused. Thanks for explaining it to me! Steve Followups:
