There is a key difference between "the barrel swinging upward in the path of the ball" and "in what direction is the swing launched".

Telling a hitter that the barrel is going up at contact is not inaccurate.

But, telling a batter to swing up is.

Almost all swings are launched downward. Clear. Very clear in video. Even in your own video. Yet you concentrate on the barrel. The hitter wants to know what "HE" does, not the barrel. He launches the swing downward rotationally. His hands are lower on almost every swing than where they started. Yet, the barrel goes upward.

The barrel, at a point in the swing, that the hitter is no longer energizing. It's on auto pilot at that point.

It is very clear that Jimmy works with hitters. And Brian works at his desk.
