my son's new coach wants all off his hitters tostep when when the pitcher breaks his hands.he wants them to hit from that postion with no more movement of the front foot.he told the team if you don't do this my way you will sit with me .my question is ,is this commonly taught and if so why no go nostep . i asked him and was told this was the way the big boys do it . this high school baseball.
