baeball swing and styles vs mechanics

Proper mechanics in a powerfull swing Jack is rite on CHP, Torque, swinging level to the ball are all things you need in your swing to hit for a high average and power. Now as far as long stride vs short stides and so called hybrid swings I dont buy it. There was a post about Babe Ruth being a linear hitter not close. The big stride was how he felt the most comfortable touqueing his body he had great mechanics. Some hitters like a longer stride because they feel more comfortable that way and they able to create more torque that way some like a shorter stride with more of a inword turn like Jim Edmonds. I guess the point of this is you have to feel comfortable at the plate no ones style is exacle the same but if u want to be a complete hitter hit for power and average CHP, swinging level to the ball, and torque with the body and hands must take place. As far your stride and stance that up to you.
